Darrell Jones Vice President

Darrell has 30+ years of experience in mass transit industry and has operational oversight of the Transit Division. His responsibilities include business development, directing preconstruction services, design and cost reviews, verification of scope of work and specifications, review of schedule and construction strategies, management team and labor coordination, quality control, and project closeout and post-completion analysis. His experience includes the construction of signal, communications, traction power and electric systems in maintenance shops, mainline, yards, tunnels, facilities, and stations.

Darrell has successfully completed projects for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Maryland Transit Authority, CTA and METRA LaSalle in Chicago, SEPTA in Philadelphia, Hampton Roads Transit in Norfolk, VA, and SANDAG/MTS in San Diego.   Darrell is an active member of the American Public Transportation Association, IEEE, and the Washington Area Railway Engineers Association.

His experience includes projects in the Federal Government, Institutional, Military, Mission Critical and Tenant Fit-out market sectors. Darrell manages projects of all sizes, and his responsibilities include a support role in project preconstruction services, establishing project budget parameters and cost control, verification of scope of work and specifications, preparation of detailed construction schedule and coordination of critical activities, facilitating procurement and coordination of all suppliers, materials and equipment, preparation of submittals and project information reports, project closeout procedures, and completion of punch lists. He maintains open communication between the office and field as well as direct communication with clients.

Mike Fricia – Project Manager

Mike has been with Power Services for 2 years .  Prior to joining the Power Services Team, he worked with other electrical contractors as a Service Project Estimator and Project Manager.  Mike joined IBEW Local 26 in 1980 and has held his District of Columbia Journeyman License since 1987.  Mike oversees all aspects of the pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases of his projects.  Mike works closely with his colleagues from general contractors, foremen for his assigned projects and customers to continually ensure that his projects are effectively managed.  His experience covers all aspects of the electrical field with specialties in healthcare, data center and WMATA sectors.
